I administered a final exam on Christmas Day. I suppose I could have gotten out of it by claiming some kind of religious exemption, but that wasn’t for me.  I showed up anyway. I could have been in a bah, humbug mood, but it didn’t turn out that way.  The students knew how to handle it.
